We lived at 72 Hawthorne Drive (if memory serves me correctly!) and I think that Pease was definitely one of my favorite bases to be stationed at. I&#39;ve not gone up and driven through since they closed the base and changed everything around but I&#39;m pretty sure there&#39;s a brewery where our house used to be! <br /><br />Sadly, the last time I was at Newick&#39;s (which was just this last year) things have changed quite a bit there as they have really trimmed down the menu. Still great seafood but with the swordfish nuggets no longer available, I have to say that I am bit bummed! Captain John Newick gave me a large lobster claw as a kid that I still have to this day. My dad was Lt. Col. Miles G. Murphy Sr., squadron commander of the 393rd Bomb Squadron (B-52&#39;s &amp; later FB-111&#39;s). We lived there from 67-73. I was a freshman at PHS in 72. We lived at 13 Maplewood Terrace. I am 65 and still have wonderful memories living there. A trip to Newick&#39;s for dinner was a special treat.
