"Interwoven: Art Meets Nature" & "Once Upon a Quilt: 3-D Quilts" Highlight Internationally Acclaimed Fiber Artists at Historic Highfield Hall on Cape Cod

I recently had the chance to wander out to the Cape (Cape Cod, Massachusetts to those not familiar with the vernacular) to visit the elegant Victorian summer home of the Beebe Family of Boston. Alas, none of the Beebes were home during my visit - and hadn't been for quite some many years being that the last member of the family passed away in 1932 - but I received a warm welcome nonetheless at Highfield Hall & Gardens - a unique combination of historic home, restored gardens and vibrant cultural center surrounded by 400 acres of conservation land in the heart of Falmouth. I was there to take in a bit of art as Highfield Hall offers some wonderful exhibitions throughout their season which runs from mid-April to late-October but as a big fan of historic houses, I was more than happy to view the art in a lovingly-restored home that may not technically be an art gallery but makes a wonderful one regardless!
